Imperialism on Belgian Congo


Imperialism in Belgian Congo started around 1885, and it lasted until 1908. It happened in Eastern Africa and the Congo. There was a big demand for rubber, so they made the Africans work for it without pay. If they didn't produce enough rubber they destroy your town, murder your family, or cut off your arm. They were the slaves of the Belgian people. If the Africans rebelled, the Belgian were instructed to kill them and chop off one of their hands to prove they killed them without wasting any bullets. The soldiers had bigger and more advanced guns than the Africans due to the industrial revolution. The Africans couldn't fight back because the machine gun of the soldiers.

Donatello

                 Donatello was born in Florence Italy in 1386. His father was a part of the Florentine Wool Combers Guild. That means he is a son of a craftsmen and will be trained for that. He trained with the Maretllis, they were a wealthy family. He became a very famous sculptor. He was the greatest Florentine sculptor in his time before Michelangelo. He was the most influential individual artist in the 15th century.

That means he is a son of a craftsmen and will be trained for that. He trained with the Maretllis, they were a wealthy family. He learned his art from a gold-smith. He became a very famous sculptor. He was the greatest Florentine sculptor in his time before Michelangelo. He was the most influential individual artist in the 15th century.
               Donatello sculpted some very famous sculptures in his lifetime. One of the most famous ones is the Saint George, and that is located in the guide-hall of Orsanmichelle. Another one of his famous works was the sculpter David.
He was a very succesful sculptor in his time.
